Our Day Angler is an agile fishing canoe destined to reach those fishing spots inaccessible with traditional boats and out of reach when casting from the bank. This fishing canoe has so little draft that only 25 cm of water is enough to get around on little creeks and ponds. With this fishing canoe there are no restrictions in your range.
We developed this purpose built wooden fishing canoe for the the sporty angler. It is a boat with plenty of storage space, three rod holders, a spacious tackle box and plenty of room to install accessories and equipment. The canoe can be paddled with a single-bladed canoe paddle, but also with a double-bladed kayak paddle.
This fishing canoe is built with western red cedar and laminated with glass fabric and epoxy. The laminate ensures that the wood is sandwiched and never comes into contact with water. In addition, it provides extreme stiffness which makes the canoe very efficient to be paddled. The boat is finished with high or satin gloss marine varnish with an excellent UV-blocker.
